Andrew Kiste grew up in a Disney family: the Kistes traveled to Walt Disney World in Florida every eighteen months and frequented theaters to see the latest release from the Disney and Pixar studios. In the meantime, the young man was constantly writing, creating his own worlds and characters. As he got older, he realized that the best way to curb his longing to visit Walt Disney World was to write about it, a panacea of sorts. It wasn't until his first piece was published in a magazine at age 19 that the hobby of writing became an obsession.
