Walt Disney World made one of the most anticipated announcements in a long time on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 when they revealed that the New Fantasyland will open on December 6, 2012. Small portions have been opening here and there, but this is the first true date that Disney has given and one that so many guests have been waiting for.
The largest expansion in the history of the Walt Disney World Resort won't be completely open until 2014 when the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is finished. Sometime in 2013, a huge meet-and-greet for Disney Princesses will open with Princess Fairytale Hall where the old "Snow White's Scary Adventures" attraction used to be.
Preview will begin on November 19, 2012 for the sections of the new Fantasyland opening. This was not specific as to whether or not it would the same preview for annual passholders that was announced the other day or not.

Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
Be Our Guest Restaurant
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Ariel’s Grotto
Gaston’s Tavern
Bonjour! Village Gifts
Once completed, this expansion will double the size of the current Fantasyland that is in place. While some older attractions have found their way out, the room being made will bring in so many new and exciting things.
