Disney announced, at this years D23 Expo, that they were jumping into the UBER-style transport business. "Minnie Vans" are on their way to the Walt Disney World resort, and they will function like UBER and LYFT.
Guests on the WDW property will be able to call a Minnie Van ride via an app and the Minnie-themed SUV will pick up your party and bring you anywhere on WDW property for a $20 flat rate. While this price may seem a bit steep, the ride does come with a knowledgeable Disney-trained castmember, optional car seats (up to 2), as well as convenient drop off locations.
The Minnie Van service begins this July and some have been spotted driving around the Walt Disney World property.
Disney has not stated if they will still allow UBER or LYFT on their property, but we would imagine that after Minnie Vans are implements, UBER and LYFT will not be allowed on property.
What do you think about the price point for the Minnie Vans service? Would you use this while staying on Disney property?
