Swan and Dolphin to be Renovated

All 2,267 rooms at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel will be receiving a $125 million dollar upgrade including new furniture and larger HDTVs. There will be a modern color scheme with whites, blues, and grays. The project has been underway since August and will be the largest renovation in the hotels’ history.

Westin Heavenly beds will be placed in each room and the bathrooms will have back lit mirrors. The entire project is  expected to be completed by 2016, and by the end of this year 500 rooms will have been updated in the Swan hotel.

The Swan and Dolphin Hotel are deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World and they have high class accommodations. Each Hotel opened up in January of 1990 and they are actually owned by the Tishman Hotel Corporation and MetLife.

The Hotels are operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide which is a Westin brand. There are a number of casual and fine dining options in each one of the Hotels and should be noted for their unique and modern architecture.
