Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, is arguably one of the most beautiful resorts on Disney World property, but lately it has been undergoing major construction which has marred its otherwise beautiful landscape. Fear not, the new additions are progressing well and fans of the resort are not going to be disappointed.
One of the stunning additions to the resort will be the new Disney Vacation Club Bungalows. Twenty bungalows will sit above the waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon and offer an amazing view and experience. Each bungalow will sleep eight people and it's sure to have a great view of Wishes at night.
The 360 Deluxe Studios are also undergoing many changes. Each studio will be renovated and updated with a new look as well as kitchenettes and enhanced storage space.
The Great Ceremonial House is also undergoing a huge transformation. This area welcomes all guests to the Polynesian Resort and really sets the mood for your stay at this great resort. Lilo’s Playhouse is a new activity area and will be a sure fire hit with the kids.
New additions also included are an enhanced feature pool and new food and beverage offerings, including Pineapple Lanai where guests can get their favorite Dole Whip treats and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, which will feature exotic cocktails and Polynesian-themed small plates.
