Marty Sklar Tribute Day on Sorcerer Radio

The Disney community lost one of its finest yesterday.  Long time Imagineer and Disney legend, Marty Sklar passed away at 83 years of age. Marty spent 54 years with the Walt Disney company and worked closely with Walt Disney.  He led the creative development of the Burbank company's theme parks, attractions and resorts around the world, including the company's ventures in the cruise business, and much more.  Thank you Marty, you will be missed.

Today, on Sorcerer Radio, we are honoring his legacy.  See the schedule below for times:

8am - WDW Tiki Room (Marty Sklar Tribute show)
9am - Songs for Marty (Our selection for Marty)
1pm - Marty's Classics - We will play music from some Disney classics that Marty had a hand in.

8pm - Marty's Classics replay

Marty and Leah Sklar were two of the founders of the Ryman Program for Young Artists, a project of Ryman Arts, a nonprofit foundation whose purpose is to teach and mentor "traditional" drawing and painting skills to talented young artists in Southern California. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marty's name to Ryman Arts at www.rymanarts.org.
