This weeks Disney Details come from WDW Tiki Room Host, Aljon Go!
Aljon Go: Host of WDW Tiki Room on Sorcerer Radio Mondays
#1. Favorite Ride: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith - Being a guitarist, and having worked on instruments for the band I love this attraction. The studio has real working instruments and reminds me of large recording studios that I have worked and have recorded in. Plus, Aerosmith is one of my all-time favorite rock bands!
#2. Favorite Movie: Star Wars Ep. 4: A New Hope. I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. Having to choose between all the Disney movies in today's catalog was hard enough. It awakened my love for the arts, music, film, and drawing, which helped make me the person I am today. Star Wars was and continues to be a source of inspiration for me.
#3. Favorite Park: Disneyland (The OG!), Disney's Hollywood Studios (at WDW). My first Disney park visit was back in the early 80s and it was at Disneyland. I still have fond memories of walking down Main Street, eating at the Carnation Cafe, riding the Matterhorn, sailing with the Pirates, and exploring the sea in the Nautilus. I still get that feeling every time I visit Disneyland. I think of great times as a child and my loving family.
#4. Favorite Song: Too many to name. Today it is "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins (Disney's Tarzan Soundtrack)
#5. Favorite Character: Genie from Aladdin. The Best. Ever. Plus, the genius that is Robin Williams.
#6. Favorite Snack: Churros
#7. Favorite Resort: Coronado Springs.I love CS due to the fact that it is a quiet resort, for the most part. I enjoy the landscape, sandy areas with hammocks, and the resort theme. I truly feel like I'm on vacation while I'm there.
#8. Favorite Place to Eat: Narcoossee's (Disney's Grand Floridian Resort) Walt Disney World Resort. This place is great for date nights. Kristen and I have had our anniversary dinner there several times and the ambiance, staff, and food are second to none. It's a real treat for me and having dinner while watching the fireworks is absolutely stunning.
#9 One extinct ride you wish would return: Horizons. It would be great if Disney used VR technology to resurrect old attractions like this.
#10. Top Item on your Disney Must Do List: Visit all the Disney Parks overseas (I've already visited Tokyo Disneyland). Who wouldn't want to visit all of the Disney parks worldwide?
Check back next week when we feature another Sorcerer Radio Allstar!
